About Us
TheImageHosting.com was established by a group of young students on August 10, 2004, and started initially as a free picture hosting service.
In January 2006, 50% of TheImageHosting.com became a property of one of the leading companies in the hosting industry: LiquidNet Ltd., UK company Registration No. 4654498. The other 50% is owned by the US-based company Snapy Communications Inc.
Due to the huge interest in the service, in February 2006 new options were added: the possibility to create free online photo albums, and to upload multiple images and ZIPPED image files.
In August 2006 all clients were given the opportunity to join the professional shared hosting network of LiquidNet Ltd., which started in November 2002.
In October 2006, our website was completely redesigned, and the Control Panels, developed entirely by LiquidNet Ltd, were upgraded and optimized, which immensely improved the quality of our FREE and PAID services.
As in October 2006, the Free Image Hosting service hosts over 5,000,000 images, while the Paid Shared Web Hosting service hosts more than 20,000 customers.
